• Preparing a streamlined Data Request Forms to gather the key data from the screw manufacturer and its suppliers.

• Saving documentation of supplier data requests, to establish that reasonable efforts were made to obtain data.

• Where suppliers would not provide data, mapping precursor materials to default specific embedded emissions provided by the EU Commission.

• Reviewing the data provided by the screw manufacturer and its suppliers, to ensure it is reasonable.

• Calculating specific embedded emissions using the CBAM Communications Template for installations.
